Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how slotrave-casino.com (the “Website”, “we”, “us”) collects, stores, uses and shares personal information. For readers in Canada we follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the provincial privacy laws that apply alongside it, including the substantially similar statutes in Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec. Visitors in the EU also keep the rights the GDPR gives them, and any stronger right under your own law applies on top of this Policy.
The Website is an independent information and affiliate publication about the Slotrave gaming platform. We are not a gambling operator: we do not open player accounts, hold funds, take deposits or bets, process payments or verify players’ identities. Those activities are carried out only by the operator of the Slotrave platform, a separate company that handles any information you give it under its own privacy policy. For any question about this Policy, write to support@slotrave.com.
2. The Information We Collect
Our collection is limited to what the Website actually needs, as the PIPEDA principles of limiting collection and identifying purposes require. We collect it fairly, directly from you or your device:
- Technical and browsing data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language settings, screen resolution, the page that referred you, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit.
- Information stored through cookies and similar technologies such as localStorage, as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Information you choose to send us by email — your email address, your name if you give it and the content of your message.
We do not collect sensitive information, financial details or identity documents, and you never need an account on this Website. Readers in Canada can use it without identifying themselves.
3. Why We Use It and on What Basis
PIPEDA sets out ten fair information principles, and consent is the one you notice: we name our purposes before we collect anything and rely on your meaningful consent, express or implied.
- running and securing the Website, including preventing abusive or fraudulent traffic — implied consent for a purpose a reasonable person would consider appropriate;
- replying to messages you send us — express consent, given when you choose to write to us, and used for nothing else;
- aggregated, non-identifying statistics about how the Website is used, only if you accept the relevant cookies — express consent, which you can withdraw at any time;
- complying with legal obligations that apply to us in Canada.
We do not sell personal information, we do not send the commercial electronic messages regulated by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Cookies
The Website uses a small number of cookies and localStorage entries. Where the information collected this way could identify you — for example, an IP address combined with browsing activity — we treat it as personal information under PIPEDA and under this Policy. Full details of what we set, why and for how long, and how to accept, reject or delete cookies, are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Sharing and International Transfers
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share limited technical data with service providers who host, maintain or analyze the Website, acting on our instructions under a contract, and we may disclose information to authorities where the law requires it.
Because the Website is international, some of our providers store information outside Canada. Under PIPEDA a transfer to a provider for processing is a use rather than a disclosure, so we remain accountable for the information wherever it is held, and we use contractual and technical safeguards to give it a comparable level of protection. You can ask us which safeguards apply and in which countries your information is processed.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, unless the law requires longer. As a guide: technical and browsing data is kept for up to 12 months; email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and a reasonable period afterwards; cookie and localStorage data is kept for the periods listed in the Cookie Policy. After that, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
7. Security and Data Breaches
We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure, including TLS encryption of connections to the Website, restricted access to the correspondence we keep, data minimization and reliable hosting.
If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) and notify the people affected as soon as feasible. We also keep a record of every breach involving personal information under our control, as PIPEDA requires.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights, free of charge:
- access to the personal information we hold about you, together with a copy of it;
- an account of how that information has been used and to whom it has been disclosed;
- correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- deletion of information we no longer need for the purposes described above;
- an explanation of how long each category of information is kept;
- withdrawal of consent at any time, on reasonable notice, without affecting earlier processing;
- the right to challenge our compliance with PIPEDA and with this Policy.
To exercise any right, write to support@slotrave.com with enough detail for us to identify the information. We normally reply within 30 days, which may be extended where the law allows it for complex requests.
9. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at support@slotrave.com so that we can put it right. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the privacy regulator of your province where provincial law applies instead.
10. Under 19s
The Website, and the gambling services described on it, are intended only for adults — 19 and over in most of Canada, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, and if we learn that one has written to us we delete it promptly; parents or guardians can write to support@slotrave.com.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the law, regulatory guidance or the Website itself. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown above.
