Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how slotrave-casino.com (the “Website”, “we”, “us”) collects, stores, uses and shares personal data. For visitors in Finland the processing is governed directly by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”) together with the Finnish Data Protection Act (tietosuojalaki), and we align our practice with both. The Website is published in several languages, and where the law of another country grants you stronger rights, those rights apply on top of what is set out here.
The Website is an independent information and affiliate publication about the Slotrave gaming platform. We are not a gambling operator: we open no player accounts, hold no funds, take no deposits or bets, process no payments and verify nobody’s identity. Those activities belong solely to the operator of the Slotrave platform, a separate company that handles whatever data you give it under its own privacy policy. Any question about this Policy can be sent to support@slotrave.com, and readers in Finland are welcome to write in English.
2. The Data We Collect
We keep data collection down to the minimum the Website needs in order to run, and we gather it fairly, either directly from you or from your device:
- Technical and browsing data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language settings, screen resolution, the referring page, the pages you open and the date and time of your visit.
- Information stored through cookies and comparable technologies such as localStorage, as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Anything you choose to send us by email — your email address, your name if you supply it and the content of your message.
We collect no special categories of data, no financial details and no identity documents, and this Website never asks you for an account. You can read every page in Finland without identifying yourself.
3. Why We Use It and on What Basis
Personal data is processed only for clearly defined purposes, on the legal bases listed in Article 6(1) GDPR:
- operating and securing the Website, including keeping abusive or fraudulent traffic away — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interests;
- answering messages you send us — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where pre-contractual steps are involved, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in correspondence;
- aggregated, non-identifying statistics on how the Website is used, and only if you accept the relevant cookies — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent, which you may withdraw at any time;
- meeting legal obligations that bind us — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
We sell no personal data, we send no marketing email and we run no automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.
4. Cookies
The Website sets a small number of cookies and localStorage entries. Where the information gathered in this way could identify you — an IP address combined with browsing activity, for instance — we treat it as personal data under this Policy. What we set, why, for how long, and how to accept, refuse or delete it, is set out in full in our Cookie Policy.
5. Sharing and International Transfers
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Limited technical data may be shared with the service providers who host, maintain or analyse the Website, acting on our instructions under contract, and data may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.
Because the Website is international, some providers store data outside Finland and in some cases outside the European Economic Area. For any transfer to a third country we rely, under Arts. 44 ff. GDPR, on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, supplemented by further technical measures where these are needed. On request we will tell you which safeguards apply in a given case.
6. How Long We Keep It
Personal data is kept only as long as the purposes above require, unless the law demands longer. As a guide: technical and browsing data for up to 12 months; email correspondence for as long as your enquiry needs and a reasonable period afterwards; cookie and localStorage data for the periods listed in the Cookie Policy. After that the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. Security and Data Breaches
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, among them TLS encryption of connections to the Website, restricted access to the correspondence we retain, data minimisation and dependable hosting.
Where a personal data breach is likely to create a risk to people’s rights and freedoms, we notify the competent supervisory authority — in Finland the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto) — where feasible within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and inform the people affected without undue delay where the risk to them is high.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you hold the following rights, free of charge:
- access to the data we hold about you and a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR);
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- erasure of your data in the cases provided for by law (Art. 17 GDPR);
- restriction of processing in certain circumstances (Art. 18 GDPR);
- data portability where processing rests on consent or on a contract (Art. 20 GDPR);
- objection to processing based on our legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR);
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
To exercise a right, write to support@slotrave.com with enough detail for us to identify the data. We answer within one month, a period that may be extended by two further months for complex requests.
9. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, please contact us first at support@slotrave.com so that we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Finland that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), or the authority of your place of work or of the alleged infringement.
10. Under 18s
The Website, and the gambling services described on it, are intended only for adults; the minimum age for gambling in Finland is 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has sent us personal data we delete it promptly. Parents and guardians can write to support@slotrave.com and we will act immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the law, in regulatory guidance or in the Website itself. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown above.
